FC Köln: Tosic moves into the starting side. It Is unlikely that Maniche will play because of a death in the family. So Novakovic and Freis will play in attack. Yalcin, or Maniche take part in the 4-2-3-1. Things are tough for Podolski (after disc problems), and he will start from the bench.

Hamburger SV: van Nistelrooy will probably start on the bench. Demel is expected to return to the right-back position. Boateng will replace Rozehnal.

Köln are having a good run of great wins, they will also take this one. Hamburg are having great trouble trying to find a way of making a come back after the christmas break but their simple mode of play is not helping. Home win

VfL Bochum 1848 Vs. Bayer 04 Leverkusen

VfL Bochum: it is still an open question as to whom will replace Holtby.

Bayer Leverkusen: Gonzalo Castro is initially classified on the bench, coach Heynckes will not change the winning team.

I think It will be a draw between the two teams. The leaders Bayer, against Bochum fighting to stay in the division. Bochum is capable of getting something out of this match. Draw

SC Freiburg: If Banovic is unable to start, then Schuster could get another chance.

FC Schalke 04: Farfan could not train because of fever on Thursday. Rafinha is doubtful, Zambrano will be in the starting line up.

1899 Hoffenheim Vs. Hannover 96

1899 Hoffenheim: Obasi is injured but it will be decided in today’s training if he is able to play. Vukcevic could replace him.

Hannover 96: Eggimann moves into the team. Bruggink has to give way completely for new signing Elson in midfield.

FC Nürnberg Vs. VfB Stuttgart

FC Nuremberg: Suspended captain Andreas Wolf returns so Maroh must remain on the bench. Otherwise, there is no reason for Coach Hecking to change anything.

VfB Stuttgart: Coach Gross will once again keep its basic line-up. Delpierre Is fit again and moves into the central defence replacing Niedermeier.

FSV Mainz 05 Vs. Borussia M'gladbach

FSV Mainz 05: Zabavnik and Fathi will probably make their debut. Ivanschitz's lack of training makes a strong case for Hoogland to replace him in the right midfield.
